The colors of summer: tropical seas, white sand, blue skies, swirl together in chunky amazonite pebbles that are hand knotted on tan cording, suspended from strands of leather that allows you to tailor to whatever length best flatters you or your outfit. Not that you can’t wear this year-round, but it’s a natural for summer, worn with linens or all white, accented by a healthy summer glow. A simple slider bead allows for easy adjustment, with leather strands dangling down, adding interest to the back view.

  • Matte amazonite pebbles strung on hand knotted tan nylon cord
  • Amazonite is an opaque stone with white, yellow, or gray inclusions, and a silky luster
  • Solid bronze accent connectors and beads
  • Length of beaded pebble section: 22" [56 cm]
  • 24k gold plated slider bead
  • Adjustable brown leather laces
  • Necklace can be doubled up and worn to look like a leather choker/beaded set
  • Total adjustable length: 23-46" [58-117 cm]
  • Handmade in the USA

Sometimes a stone calls to you – and these were like a siren’s song, tempting “buy me, buy me… figure it out later”. The matte texture and colors of these amazonite beads where MESMERIZING, so I knew I had to use them in a way that let me (this may sound weird) stare at them. You know, when I was bored? Or in need of mediation (that probably sounds better). Either way, the stones are so pretty with the ocean colors that they needed to shine all on their own, in a length long enough to be in my line of vision. These pretties I want to be able to see for myself all day.

Styling Tips

Throw this necklace on for a quick pop of color, or pile on shorter necklaces of varying lengths for an artistic layered look. Or... get creative and make it your own, double wrapping the necklace, wearing the leather tassels down the front for a lariat look, or offset to the side.

To adjust length, hold end of leather laces firmly in one hand, pinch the slider bead while holding leather taunt, and slide to desired length.

The Do's

Handmade and hand knotted jewelry pieces are durable, but NOT indestructible. Be good to your jewelry and follow these tips to keep your items looking like new as long as possible:

  • Make jewelry the last thing to go on, after sunscreens, lotions and perfumes have been applied AND dried.
  • DO wear your jewelry with abandon, expressing your unique style, but remove it at the end of the day.
  • Clean stones by gently wiping with a slightly damp, soft, non-abrasive cloth or chamois.
  • Keep leather dry at all times and clean with a soft, damp cloth or specially formulated leather cleaner.
  • Store jewelry in a dark, cool, and dry space.
  • Gemstones are delicate and can chip or shatter on impact with hard surfaces. Please take care when handling and storing.
The Don'ts
  • Don't wear jewelry in the shower, while swimming in the pool or ocean, sunbathing, or while working up a serious sweat. Exposure to water, salt, and chemicals will tarnish, discolor, or wear away fine metal plating and may discolor and weaken beading cord.
  • Sunscreen, lotions, perfumes, and hairspray may be good on you, but are bad on your jewelry. Avoid direct contact with fine metal plating and gemstone beads as they can become stained or discolored.
  • Don't use metal cleaners, dips, or polishing agents as these will damage fine metal plating.
  • Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause some natural gemstones to lose their color and fade, so avoid storing jewelry in direct sunlight.
