Within reason... Designers and artists have a vision - trust it, trust them. Some items can be customized to add or remove length, to change colors or stones slightly. All artwork is either an original or a limited edition print which will not be reproduced or copied beyond the original. Every product page has a "Questions?" tab where you can contact ZP directly with inquiries. Artisans (including myself) may resist requests to alter pieces in a way that becomes very different from their original vision, but it never hurts to ask.
Many people believe that gemstones have special properties to bring healing, balance, harmony... you name it, there's a stone for that. Here's how I go about selecting gemstones - if they are pretty, striking, an amazing color - then I'm going to use them. There are many online resources that suggest what metaphysical properties every stone has, but since that has no impact on me when designing, I don't include that info on the website. I strive to create beautiful pieces that I hope become your treasured favorites, and if that piece of jewelry brings better balance and harmony to your life, bonus!!
